Won't work if ur behind a router...u have to specify ur exact address behind the router along with ur networks ip......

I fout this IP in ipconfig/all in the wireless lan adapter section.
NOTE: i am using a rooter between this computer and the other one.

What should i do ? how can i put the toher ip along with the ip of the rooter to be able to talk to the other pc?

check to make sure whoever you are sending the message to has the messenger service turned on. All a router will do is make it so you have to be a little more specific about where your sending the msg to (think of a router like a post office)...this .bat file you are creating is actually an easier way of using the net send dos command. So if you wana wana know what your really doing or just do it manually do a start menu>run...>type in "cmd". Then type {net send ?} when the dos cmd promp pops up and go from there.

at first if i look at the code i can see thats its net send %user %message but if im using a rooter what should i do for example if this user is names PC1 with ip 192.168.0.1 and i want to talk to PC2 with an ip 192.168.0.3 and i have a rooter in the middle with an ip 192.168.0.2 what is the correct form to make PC1 talk to PC2?
