I found a windows file for XP tablet here and after downloading the18 files The pass word does not work to open the RAR files.

Now I can not find the file. Can anyone direct me.

I would be so thankful.

i download this one but there is no tablet pc components in the windows
i found that the second cd contains the tablet pc files and in a foldr called I386
i copy the content into I386 of the windows cd but still no tablet pc components installed !!

any help

Thanks everyone for the help on this. I did find the file again late last night and sent the auther a message to see if he could fix the password. here is the link.

seco, first of all i have not been able to install the copy I have of tablet but I will download the new set of files and see what happens. I am told that the second cd is installed in the middle of the first cd install. in other words as u install it will ask for the second cd at some point of the install. I have tried several versions of xp to get my laptop to boot and most of them seem to be missing files or had errors in them. AS the poster of the new set of files says he tested the file so I have to believe that I can make it work.

download the files from this post. pass works fine and i have burned to disk. works fine I have not tried to install yet but have good hope that all is fine.

i search everywhere for tablet pc edition, and have no success... even buying local store for tablet edition.. but installed it only WIN XP pro...
I know the tablet component is only inking-namely, Journal, Sticky Notes and Ink, i hope there is stand alone installer for these component, especially writing recognition software? anyone?

You could have A PROBLEM with this all tablet pc is oem only. You will have to find a recovery disk from mfg to reinstall tablet pc. It looks like the mfg has installed a bunch of stuff to make it there own. I ended up ordering for a boot legger and got the recovery disk for 20.00 and worked.
