i use Xp service pack 2

but after updating it from microsoft web site its become problemetic..........

then if i start scaning my pc with antivirus then pc become restarted..........

if i try to find properties of c:/windows then also pc restarted..........
can any one help me.............

if u know how to install windows make a clean install and i recomand u install windows xp professional sp3 from Etho team is the best

ive heard of Service Pack 3 &/or .Net Framework 3, cause fatal errors on OS's after they were installed...mostly caused from corrupted installations...just a thought though, did u happen to update to the new Internet Explorer 8 Beta??

this is fixable, as it might be a virus...u cant count that one out..

but most likely this is a corruption of some core files...i suggest booting into safemode first off, then un-installing any or all of the newest hotfixes and/or any that i mentioned at the beginning of my post...after that run an aggressive registry cleaner, i suggest using RegCure or Registry Mechanic..but use whatever u feel comfortable with that works...then always run a junk cleaner, such as CCleaner, etc...

after this restart and see what happens when u boot into normal mode...now make sure to backup anything important as always before doing anything drastic to ur computer and post back here soon with anymore details~!~
