How can I install Windows XP after installed Windows

Vista? Hi:I installed Windows Vista Home Premium on my machine and now I want toinstall Windows XP too. Using the Disk Management I create a Ntfspartition. The problem is that when I boot the XP cd, it not recognizethat partition, only the Vista partition. My Vista parition have 60GB, the new Ntfs partition have 40 GB, and the partition size thatappears when I boot Xp cd is 100Gb aprox. ¿What can I do?Thx

hey there..

well i too had the same probs at first while installing Vista Enterprise.. along with XP.. so this is what i did..

First i formatted my entire HD, i.e. 100 GB unallocated space..
then you must first proceed with installing XP first.. as Vista is superior to XP and it will not be detected in the Boot menu if you do the other way round (i.e. Xp first and Vista 2nd)...

So once you install Xp, may it be any drive letter.. after doing so.. you go to install Vista.. NOTE : in XP do not format the other unallocated (left out space), leave it as unallocated itself.. and when installing Vista select that entire partition for vista..or whatever size for the partition you want for vista.. once thats done.. you can follow the installations and then your done..

Do let me know if this helps you.. ENJOY :-)
