a client computer configuration? I had set up dns and everything in a server. I think there is something wrong in a client/workstation network config. I had tested at least 4 out of 12 client pc that should use a domain. Note: all the 12 were working fine in workgroup (p2p) connection. Of the 4 ive tested, only 2 were connecting to the server, logging in to the server. My client PCs are xp sp2. To log in to server, i just typed in the domain name (say netnet.local) in computer properties>comp name>domain and Okay. To those pc with successful connection it says, "Welcome to netnet.local" but for those which are not successful it says that the "domain controller could not be found. ples check if uv typed it correctly..blah blah" What else do i need to modify in client network properties, or in ip addresses (ip, subnet, gateway, proffered dns...)or in computer properties or in server?Thank you for your time reading this and i really do appreciate any answer. thanks in advance.Uhm...one more thing. This is yet very simple. Only that i am very new to using a server. How to set wallpaper for the client pc? i think it is in gp. i don't want to mess setting in server.
