I'm using a PC Card which is verizon, Is there a way to increse the speed of the internet? Right now the dl speed is 7kb per second, I'm not really happy with this, I pay 60 usd a month and its like dial up speed. And also is there a another way to get high speed internet that doesnt require homephone? I live in an apartment and I dont have homephone and cable. ThanksIts not torrent p2p, I havent try that yet, I just try to download some things at download.com and thats was the speed of it per second. I already called and they said may be there is no boardband at my area. I only have national access, and I asked them where do I know that area has boardband they tell me to check the internet but I checked and the internet said I have boardband at my area. So I got no clue....May be because I live in an apartment? And I want to cancel it, but I couldnt find any internet service, they need me to have a housephone which I dont use.
