Hello.... well my boyfriend got a red tail boa. We know its a female... right now she is only about 2 feet long. not sure of her age. My BF says he knows everything about having his snake, but after reading on here I'm not so sure he knows all that much. Last Wednesday I fed her a pinkie like the pet store said. In a small, dark enclosed space. As of right now her tank has bedding, a tupperware with water, a heat lamp of some sort that is turned on and off throughout the day, an under the tank heat thing thats always on, and a big wood stick thing for her to climb on. We both handle her several times a day. After i fed her last afternoon my bf came home and handled her a few hours later. as far as we know she hasnt passed but how do i tell for sure? Please someone share info with me so that the snake can getthe care she needs,Also any ideas on a name for her???
