internet connection from dial up? I have tried using the set up wizard on XP OPS and device manager but can't seem to get it to connect. It is showing that a broadband connection is enabled but still cant connect setting correctly. It is my neighbor's laptop that he just got from someone else and I assume the previous owner was using a dial connection to go online. It continues wanting to go through dial up process when trying to go on internet explorer....please assist?!!!Error Message says:Error 769/specified destination is not reachable. check destination address and try again.I have done both of the steps that has been mentioned by 1st to people who have answered but it still is being cruel! lol I cant seem to figure out why these easy steps dont work???
