Ensure that the directory containing the files you wish to create a torrent of are located in the same place on your pc as as where torrent files are downloaded to

My default download directory is c:\downloads (as shown below)


If the file or folder is not located in your default download directory then move the folder to your default download directory before following the stages below

Stage 1
Open up Utorrent and select create torrent


Stage 2
Select the option of file or directory Depending on whether it is a single file or a directory that you wish to upload. (Note the procedure is exactly the same irrespective of which one you choose) For the purpose of this guide I'm going to choose directory.



Stage 3
Locate the directory on your PC containing the files you wish to upload and select ok.


Stage 4
Enter the following tracker in the Torrent properties dialog box where u want to post and ensure private tracker and start seeding are NOT selected.




Stage 5
Select create and save as ( make sure the torrent file is saved in the same location as where torrent files are downloaded to)


Once the green bar has gone all the way across select close, the torrent file has now been created and saved in your default download directory.
