Philips Camcoder Pro 3.74 / Pro 1.03 S60
![]() For 6600 7610 6260 6630 S60 phones. The Philips LifeVibes Camcoder PRO is a high quality audio video encoder and player for the Nokia 6600/6620 mobile handset. It provides real-time audio video grabbing and encoding in the MPEG-4/H263 video format as specified by the 3GPP standard. Its PRO mode allows to produce top quality video clips of virtually unlimited duration. It is fully integrated into phone application environments such as MMS, BT, IR and e-mail to transfer recorded video clips to other 3GPP video player compliant phones and PCs. The Philips Camcoder also features audio editing to add personal impressions to recorded video clips. Hours of videos can be stored in the handset and transferred to PCs to be played back without any additional converter: enjoy recorded videos on all 3GPP compliant players such as but not limited to Philips Platform4 PC Player, Apple Quicktime 6.5 and other 3GPP video player compliant phones. Philips Camcorder Pro 1.03 is working very well with Nokia 6600, and the sound/audio is fine, the only problem if we set the picture 176x144 then we can only have 5 frames per second so the movie will be a little bit jumpy/blurred & looks like a slow motion movie. If we set to 128x96 then we cud have around 7.5 fps, but the pics are too small for conversion to VCD/Mpeg1 format. The processor speed inside Nokia 6600 is only 104 MHz, so it can't process too many frames per second. The newer Nokia s60 have 220 Mhz processors. Most of the problems were caused by old firmware, the newest FW for Nokia 6600 is 5.53.0. ========================================= Here is the processing specifications of various nokia s60 phones Smartphones: Nokia 3650/3660 Series: Series 60 1.0 Symbian: OS v6.1 Memory: 3.4 Mb shared Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 104 MHz --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nokia 3230 Series: Series 60 2.1 Symbian: OS 7.0s Memory: 6 Mb Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 123 Mhz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nokia 7650 Series: Series 60 1.0 Symbian: OS v6.1 Memory: 3.6 MB Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 104 Mhz -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nokia 6600 Series: Series 60 Symbian: OS v7.0s Memory: 6 Mb Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 104 MHz -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nokia 6620 Series: Series 60 Symbian: OS 7.0s Memory: 12 Mb memory Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 150 MHz --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nokia 6260 Series: Series 60 Symbian: OS 7.0s Memory: 6 Mb Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 123 Mhz -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nokia 7610/6670 Series: Series 60 2.1 Symbian: OS v7.0s Memory: 8 Mb Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 123 MHz --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nokia 6630 Series: Series 60 2.6 Symbian: OS v8.0s Memory: 10 Mb Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 220 Mhz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nokia 6680 Series: Series 60 2.6 Symbian: OS v8.0s Memory: 10 Mb Processor: 32-bit RISC CPU based on ARM-9 series, 220 Mhz -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nokia 6681/6682 Series: Series 60 2.6 Symbian: OS v8.0s Memory: 8 Mb |
