![]() Description: In Dungeon Siege II players return to land of Aranna, to take the role of a simple mercenary who is forced to take up arms for a higher cause -- the defense of humanity itself. This hero may eventually be joined by up to five other adventurers. Together, the party travels the land to save it from an almost certain doom. Players have more choices as they develop their characters in the sequel, choosing from a selection of new hero powers instead of automatically building up the most-used skills. These new abilities are designed to give them a fighting chance against the sequel's more powerful enemies, which are directed by improved artificial intelligence. Many other favorite features from the original are reprised and enhanced in Dungeon Siege II as well. The pack mule is once again available, to help heroes haul their loot, but the party can also choose from other available support creatures, both magical and mundane, each offering distinct benefits. The plot of Dungeon Siege II involves legends of an ancient time, when primordial magic was first unleashed in the world, through a deadly struggle between old, near-forgotten gods. Now it seems that an heir to these old gods is awakening, and soon may reclaim the errant magic of the world for itself, using it to destroy any who would stand in the way of its conquest. Storytelling elements are more prominent in the sequel, as player characters encounter lore-laden NPCs, important landmarks, and many other opportunities to learn about the culture and history of the fantasy world. However, the main focus of Dungeon Siege II remains on the efficient, fast-paced, hack-and-slash combat that won many fans for the original game. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

![]() Description: Game Info: Dungeon Siege II: Broken World is intense role-playing that expands on the unique gameplay and action of the first two hits. At the end of Dungeon Siege II, warlord Vardis was defeated and the world began to fall apart. Gigantic cracks have appeared throughout the country, and lands green with life are now empty brown wastelands. Many see you as the reason for this destruction. A year later, new monsters appear in the countryside -- patchwork creatures who seem to be made from pieces of several beasts. To clear your name and improve your reputation, you decide to head into the shattered lands and find the source of these new monsters. System requirements

![]() Description: Diablo is the Lord of Terror and one of the Three Prime Evils of Hell, the most powerful lords of demonkind. Long before the events of the game, he was captured by a secretive order of mortal magi known as the Horadrim. The Horadrim imprisoned each of the Prime Evils in a Soulstone; Diablo's red stone was buried in caverns deep beneath the town of Tristram, and as the generations passed, was forgotten. Though his imprisonment was meant to be eternal, the power of the Soulstone weakened over centuries, eventually allowing Diablo to use limited power from within the stone. He telepathically turned an inhabitant of Tristram, the Archbishop Lazarus, into his pawn. In order for Diablo to actually leave the Soulstone, Diablo needed to possess a host. Through his minion Lazarus, he initially tried to gain control of King Leoric, the local ruler, but Diablo, in his weakened state, was unable to overpower Leoric. Abandoning the idea, he caused Lazarus to kidnap King Leoric's son, Prince Albrecht. He inspired such terror in the child that the boundaries between the realms were broken and parts of Hell appeared in the mortal world, taking root in the labyrinth beneath Tristram. Diablo then chose to bide his time and wait for the opportune moment to strike. System requirements:

![]() Description: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. Be the noble hero embarking on an epic quest, or an insidious thief rising to leadership of his guild. Be a malevolent sorcerer developing the ultimate spell of destruction, or a reverent healer searching for the cure to a plague. Your actions define your character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. Confront the assassins' guild, and they take out a contract on you. Impress them, and they try to recruit you instead. No two sagas are the same in the world of Morrowind. Players can choose to follow the intriguing main storyline, or set off to explore the huge province of Morrowind and the many interesting people and exotic locations it contains. Vast cities and remote villages dot the landscape, each with its own unique look and feel. Hundreds of quests and adventures await as you interact with characters and learn more. Regardless of whether you play a murdering assassin or a noble knight, the game holds endless possibilities and allows you to revisit the main storyline at any time. With Morrowind, the unparalleled Elder Scrolls character system is coupled with an exponential increase in the world's richness of detail and level of visual splendor. Utilizing the latest in 3D technology, Morrowind will feature hyper-realistic textures and polygon counts, real-time shadows, vast landscapes, skeletal based animation, and a complete weather system. Gameplay is further extended with the inclusion of The Elder Scrolls Construction Set, which will be included with the game. This powerful tool is being used to create the entire game, and will also allow players to modify and add to Morrowind in any way they see fit. Change character or creature attributes and skills, introduce new weapons or dungeons into the game, or create entire new worlds to explore. You'll be amazed how simple it is to use, and astounded by how much bigger it makes an already immense game universe. ![]() Description: Oblivion is a single-player game that takes place in Tamriel's capital province, Cyrodiil. You are given the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty, the previous emperor having been killed by an unknown assassin. With no true Emperor, the gates to Oblivion (the equivalent of hell in the world of Tamriel) open, and demons begin to invade Cyrodiil and attack its people and towns. It's up to you to find the lost heir to the throne and unravel the sinister plot that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel. Oblivion features a groundbreaking new AI system, called Radiant AI, which gives non-player characters (NPCs) the ability to make their own choices based on the world around them. They'll decide where to eat or who to talk to and what they'll say. They'll sleep, go to church, and even steal items, all based on their individual characteristics. Full facial animations and lip-synching, combined with full speech for all dialog, allows NPCs to come to life like never before. Minimum System Requirements:

![]() Description: The Shivering Isles features a bizarre landscape split between the two sides – Mania and Dementia –filled with vast, twisting dungeons mirroring the roots of the trees they are buried within. You’ll encounter more than a dozen new creatures including hideous insects, Flesh Atronachs, skeletal Shambles, and amphibious Grummites. Throughout your adventure, you will discover all new items, ingredients, spells, and more, and have the talented craftsmen of Crucible and Bliss forge new armor and weapons just for you. Shivering Isles adds more than enough new and interesting content to give you a great reason to dive back into the world of Oblivion. Once you've installed the Shivering Isles content, you can access it at any time with any character, regardless of your progress in the rest of the game. Soon after starting, you'll hear a rumor about a mysterious portal that suddenly appeared on an island in Niben Bay. As any adventurer worth his salt knows, the only thing to do with a mysterious portal is throw caution to the wind and dive right into it. You're greeted by an oddly dressed fellow named Haskill who explains that you've entered a portal to the Shivering Isles, which is the realm of the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath. The world is divided into the colorful, eccentric realm of Mania and the dark, paranoid realm of Dementia. The two different realms and their inhabitants share a less than harmonious, though not overtly hostile, relationship. The ruler of both realms is Sheogorath. It's up to you to act as Sheogorath's servant to carry out his delusional demands and rise in rank in the Court of Madness. Minimum System Requirements:

![]() Description: Final Fantasy VII for the PC. Sporting improved graphics, and translation fixes, the game excels with a decent 3D card, and a fast Pentium processor. Spells, particularily, are far more impressive than the Playstation version. Backdrops, however, are pixellated, and detract slightly from the experience. RPGamer's recommendation is that if you already own the Sony Playstation version, skip this title, unless you really want to test out the power of a higher-ended system. For those who haven't played FF7 on the Playstation, this game is one no true RPG fan should miss. Minimum System Requirements:

![]() Description: The Game begins with the Nameless Hero thrust into the barrier, and soon afterward befriended by Diego, one of the Shadows from the Old Camp. After the Hero has joined a camp, he is sent to the Swamp Camp to aid a ritual that is supposed to destroy the barrier. The Hero has to reclaim a focus stone for Y'Berion, leader of the Swamp Camp. Afterwards, he must help another high-ranking Swamp camp member gather minecrawler secretion to help the novices contact the Sleeper. The Hero heads to the Old Mine and kills a Minecrawler Queen, securing enough secretion in the process. Afterwards his faction awards him with a promotion. Next, the Hero must secure an Almanac that is needed for the invocation, from a band of Black Goblins. Finally, the ritual is ready to commence (thus begins chapter 3). The ritual fails, and the hero is sent to the nearby Orc Cemetery to try and figure out what happened. After his return, he is sent to gather healing herbs for Y'Berion, who is ill. The Hero is unable to help him, and Y'Berion dies. Cor Angar takes command of the camp and sends the Hero (along with the focus stone and the Almanac) to the mages at the New Camp, to help in their escape plan. The water mages plan to bust out of the barrier using huge amounts of ore to power the spell to free themselves; they, however, require the 5 focus stones to be able to do it. The Hero is sent to gather the remaining four focus stones. At each of the locations, one of the Hero's friends helps him. Milten (Fire Mage in the Old Camp) helps him at the Stonehenge, Diego (Shadow in the Old Camp) at the Troll Canyon, Gorn (Mercenary from the New Camp) at the Cloister Ruin and Lester (Novice of the Swamp Camp) at the Mountain Fortress. These four had forged a pact to help the Hero in his quests. After the focus stones are secured, Saturas (leader of the Water Mages) wants the Hero to perform one more task - to summon other mages inside the Barrier, to help. At this point, the Hero is able to acquire new armor again. However, tragedy has struck! The mine controlled by the old camp has collapsed when the diggers breached an underground river. Gomez, leader of the Old Camp, used the ore from the mine to trade with the king. With his ore gone, he knew he would lose his position of power within the barrier, so he plans to attack the New Camp and secure their mine. The Fire Mages disagree with Gomez's plan and in a fit of rage Gomez slaughters all the Fire Mages (except Milten, who managed to escape) and marches on the New Camp. The Hero is deemed a traitor, and cannot enter the camp any more. If the Hero joined the Old Camp, he is now able to join the New Camp instead. The Hero must now seek the elusive 13th mage, Xardas, who has turned his back to the other mages to study the Dark Arts. Unfortunately, he lives in a huge tower deep in the Orc Lands. After defeating his three guard golems, the Hero meets Xardas. Xardas sends the Hero to seek a renegade Orc shaman, Ur-Shak, in order to be able to peacefully enter the Orc Village (which guards the entrance to an ancient temple). The hero is sent to the Free Mine to get the help from an Orc there. Unfortunately, the Free Mine is now under the control of the Old Camp. Gorn helps the Hero in his fight. At this point, the Hero is also able to get Wolf, a mercenary from the New Camp, to make him a special armor from minecrawler plates. Afterwards, the Hero proceeds to make the artifact required to get peaceful admittance into the Orc Village (an Ulu-Mulu). The Hero battles against five undead Shamans to proceed further into the temple, but is unable to defeat the 5th. Xardas speaks of a magic sword, Uriziel, that the hero must get to progress further. In order to power up the sword, the Hero must trick the Water Mages, and use the mound of ore stored in their camp. Afterwards, the whole New Camp will consider the Hero a traitor. Uriziel can be turned into a magic Rune, if he is a mage. Equipped with the finest armor (found in Xardas' old tower) and weapon in the game, the hero enters the temple to finally defeat the Sleeper. He succeeds in doing so, but is buried alive once the temple begins collapsing. The Barrier, however, has been destroyed. System requirements:

![]() Description: The third part opens with the Nameless Hero and his friends sailing to a new continent overrun with orcs, arriving in the Myrtana, the central region of the continent. Presumably this is the source of the orc invasion that was launched on Khorinis during the second chapter. These lands have no physical connection to Khorinis or the ruins of the penal colony. In these mountainous forests the orcs have enslaved the human kingdom with only a few free humans living in the nearly uninhabitable icy northlands of Nordmar and the southern desert of Varant. The hero must decide whether to join the rebellion and stay true to the deposed human king, serve the Orcish usurpers in their quest to topple the last remaining human stronghold, or choose a path that serves his own ends. Throughout the story, he is accompanied by a number of NPCs, some of whom are old friends. While this chapter brings forward friends from the previous title (Xardas, Diego, Milten, Gorn, Lester, and Vatras) it also introduces two new major characters; King Rhobar the Second (Who ultimately was responsible for sending the Nameless Hero to the penal colony in the first game) and Zuben. While the king has a strong past as a bold leader, he now faces a near defeat; his fame on the decline. Zuben leads the Hashishin that inhabit the southern region of Varant System requirements:
