Konami announced the recommended system specifications for running Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 7 (2008) on PC.

Here they are:

* 8x DVD-ROM drive
* DirectX 9.0c video card
* 256MB Pixel Shader 3.0 (ATI x1600 / NVidia 6800 GT/GS or better)

* Windows USB Gamepad
* 1280 x 720 resolution
* Supported Chipsets:

These system requirements remind me those provided by EA for Medal of Honor Airborne, and they seem like an overkill for a game like PES. Other concern is about the ability of having PES running on Vista. I hope that Konami aren’t too serious about those system requirements, and that gamers will be able run PES 2008 on a normal PC...
