Monkey Island (I&II), Day of The Tentacle, Maniac Mansion, Sam & Max

All games feature graphical items (not the early versions that only displayed text) and require no copy protection under ScummVM (included). I don't think these classic adventure games require an introduction so I'll just get right to the chase.

Instructions:
1. Unpack the archive
2. Open ScummVM.exe (nevermind the other files)
3. Choose Add Game, if dial-a-pirate appears on the selection you are on the right folder, don't click on dial-a-pirate.**
4. Select "Choose" nevermind the seemingly empty selection.
5. Monkey Island I and Monkey Island II should pop up, repeat the process and add both games. To add Day of The Tentacle and Sam & Max go to their respective directories.
6. Play
**If dial-a-pirate doesn't show on the selection you are probably not on the folder you just extracted, use the ScummVM browser to navigate to the root of the folder extracted from the download and go to step 4.

NOTES: Remember, there is no copy protection, Monkey Island II will ask for some numbers at the beggining, just input whatever and you'll get past it. You can change the video options and sound options for each game before booting them up.

The game autosaves every 5 minutes (this setting can be changed) and you can save and load yourself by pressing F5 in-game, spacebar pauses the game.



The Secret of Monkey Island & Monkey Island II: LeChuck's Revenge + ScummVM. Day of The Tentacle (Includes Maniac Mansion) + Sam & Max.


Added Sam & Max and Day of The Tentacle to the post, both can be installed the same way as the Monkey Island games, just browse the directory and select add game from ScummVM. Both are the floppy-disk versions of the game meaning full graphics but no voice acting. I have the voice acting version of DoTT (a pretty lightweight 80MB one) but the subtitles are in Spanish (voices in English of course) so I'm not sure it will be enjoyable to everyone but still if you want me to upload that just post here and I will do it.

In the Day of The Tentacle folder you will actually find a folder named "Maniac", this is the full version of Maniac Mansion, in the original game you could play the game when using the computer in Ed's Room however ScummVM doesn't support this emulation but you CAN add the game to the list in ScummVM, just choose Maniac as the directory and it will add Maniac Mansion as well.

Finally if you wish to play these games directly you can do so though support is limited you can use DOSBox (see link further below) to get a more faithful reproduction of the games (including a seamless DOTT-MM transition) though ScummVM is still the recommended way to go.
