can the Archos AV500 30GB Digital Media Player store
Data like Text doc like a portable hard drive ? Im planning to buy the Archos AV500 30GB Digital Media Player , but i also want to use it as a harddrive .. if it is able to keep other documents .. which include almost any file .. can i plug and play into another computer without installing a driver of some sought ? also .. can you tell me any problems you have encountered with the Archos AV500 30GB Digital Media Player , and for does who own a 100GB Archos AV500 is it slow ? when theres too many things loaded into it ? -Thanks .. i really need to know

yes you can store word documents etc on the archos av500. i have a friend in possesion of one and it is my understanding that you can plug it into another computer without a driver however i must clarify with this source but i would think it to be true seeing as it is a quality player full of features. regarding the 100gb model i can't help you out terribly much but i can say 60gb ipods work as fast as 300gb ipods.
