I just bought mine, and have had no problem viewing MP4's on them.
The difference in viewing an MP4 file that is formatted for a PSP is the screen dimensions, your image may be missing on the sides. I have one video like that which I converted from WMV and I believe I converted it for PSP instead of iPod Video. Using Xilisoft DVD to iPod, I have been converting my own personal DVD's and have had no problems with functionality. Simply add the file to iTunes and then sync it with your iPod. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Oh, I read P2P and thought you said PSP... if it's an MP4 it will read it... always scan any files you get from a P2P method with a virus scan. There was a post here recently with many MP4's that are direct links, I've downloaded a few and will be trying them out tonight. I highly recommend the iPod Classic. |
