Linux on HP NC8430 runs extremely hot. What needs...
...to be done in order to run Linux n this laptop? Tried running kernel versions rangin from 2.4.x to 2.6.21 and all work roughly the same. It is gets hot very fast! Tried running ubuntu 6.10, 7.04, OpenSuse 9-10.x, Fedora 1-7, Gentoo, Debian Etch, Elive, Madriva 2007, and many others. Nothing seems to work. I am unable to build my dsdt using iasl. There are 4 errors whe compiling. I will have to get these to you later.
