Linux Shell Script - how to split string into...
...variables? G'day.I'm using Fedora Core 6, and I want to take the following line (which I have as a variable)"64 bytes from 172.28.65.253: icmp_seq=1 ttl=128 time=0.221 ms"And come out with the variables$computer=172.28.65.253$time=0.221But how do you get that information out of a string using Linux commands?
