E blues pentatonic - Here is a scale you can use to solo on almost any blues or rock tune. As with just about any scale or chord, you can move it up or down the fretboard to get play in whatever key you need.

Here's a very cool scale. It has a 'gypsy', or somewhat middle-eastern flavor to it. I use it sometimes when soloing for effect. It's cool to suddenly jump from a regular minor scale into this one
