What does Guitar FX BOX do?
Well, just plug your guitar into the sound card input and you will find out. Your guitar will sing and scream, like you are using a good collection of expensive analog effect pedals or hardware effect processors. You can apply a wide range of high quality effects to guitar, voice, and other inputs. Guitar FX BOX sits between sound input and output - signal is sampled from sound card input, processed, and than sent to the sound card output with VERY LOW LATENCY, virtually undetectable! This is achieved using DirectSound or WDM streaming for fast access to the hardware (sound card), and fast closely integrated DSP algorithms, optimized for real-time processing. Currently included high quality effects are: Overdrive/distortion, Echo, Pitch shifter, Reverb, Wah-Wah, Chorus, Tremolo, I/O (Bass / Mid /Treble) EQ controls, Compressor, Phaser . Also, handy Guitar tuner is included. Getting to any option takes just one or two mouse clicks. With program panel very descriptive, user interface intuitive and friendly, thus making it easy to navigate among wide range of effects settings and options, this is the ultimate sound processing application. Presets can be used to store single or all effects settings for later use. Presets can be easily recalled by single key press. It is possible to read input from a file and/or save processed signal to a file. Everything is adjustable on the ear. Every slider move results in instantaneous reflection on the produced sound! Program uses 32 bit high quality mixing, up to 48kHz sample rate. To ensure analog "feel", all filters used are based on real analog filters. |
