What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
Definitely dancing! I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. I still have my first pair of ballet shoes which I keep as a memory of my many years and passion for dancing. I am a very curious person and I love traveling the world, especially seeing musicals and visiting museums. Discovering different cultures and encountering new people are a constant source of inspiration for me and something I try to apply to my own dancing and teaching back in Japan.

What is your career ambition?
To open my own dance school in Tokyo! My mother runs a successful dance school outside of Tokyo and we plan to expand my family's love for the performing arts by opening an international dance school in Tokyo, the capital of Japan and a crossroads for many cultures. My plan is to hire teachers who speak a number of languages so that I can host students from around the world. Opening my own school will allow me to live and teach my passion for dancing while being an independent business woman.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was born and raised with my younger brother in a small town called Shizuoka at the base of Mt. Fuji. Shizuoka enjoys a very mild climate and is also near the sea. As nuclear families have become the norm in Japanese society, I feel very fortunate to have been raised by both my parents and grandparents under the same roof. I grew up in a very supportive and loving family, always surrounded by many energetic people since part of my house served as my mother's dance school. Interestingly enough, my mother entered a local beauty pageant when she was in her twenties and, although I didn't pay much attention to it at the time, my maternal grandmother told me when I was a child that she wanted me to become Miss Japan before I turn 20.

What do you want the judges to know about you?
What you see is what you get. Nothing is rehearsed about me. From the very beginning, I entered this competition with high-hopes and an unswerving determination to make this dream a reality.

What is your career ambition?
To be a good professional in architecture, but before that my first accomplishment is to become Miss Universe 2007. That's why I'm doing my best and working on it.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
In the city of Belo Horizonte, one of the biggest cities in Brazil. I spent a normal childhood just like any child of my age in the same city as above.

What do you want the judges to know about you?
I am a very determined person and I am always concerned about a better world.

Design, acting and music. I love traveling, meeting people from all over the world, chatting on the internet (I have more than 500 contacts in my instant messenger!), and learning about different cultures.

I plan to be a fashion designer and have my own boutique expressing my personality through my art. I also would like to be a part of the media world.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in the small town of Tocuyito in Carabobo, Venezuela. My childhood was amazing. I had incredible parents who gave me strength in all the initiatives I undertook. I spent my afternoons studying music and theater and they supported me in everything. I am an only child, so I was really spoiled. I also spent time with my grandmother who was very special to me.

What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
I love to learn foreign languages including English, ancient Hebrew, Chinese, and Japanese. Moreover, I enjoy dancing and traveling. I also play various musical instruments as well, including Kayageum, which is a Korean traditional instrument.

What is your career ambition?
I have two goals. One is to become a cultural ambassador for Korea as a Kayageum-ist and professor of traditional Korean music. The other goal is to become a volunteering missionary in developing or undeveloped countries including North Korea.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I grew up in Seoul, Korea. Unlike other girls, I loved to go out and play all sorts of sports. When I was not at school studying or at practice hall playing Kayageum, I usually went outside to ski, learn Taekwondo, or swim.

What is your career ambition?
I have so many dreams and aspirations, but my career ambition is to be a reputable journalist at a national or international level so that I may educate the general public about the world they are living in. I would also love to be the founder of my own philanthropic organization directed towards education, especially for those in impoverished areas within the USA and beyond my country's borders.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was born in the Republic of Panama to military parents from the USA. As an infant, we moved to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Soon, thereafter, my parents bought a home in the small town of Clarksville, Tennessee, which is the place I have called home most of my life. I am an only child but was blessed to have my maternal grandmother Nana live with us since I was 9 months old. My family is very loving and supportive and has afforded me many opportunities to learn and grow and become the strong, independent woman I am today.
