Searching - EveryOne Must Read -
10-08-2007, 09:11 AM
Before posting, EVERYONE needs to use the search function. If what you want to post already has a thread, even if it is a different version, than you post yours in that thread. Please DO NOT create a new one. If it is a newer version you post it in the existing thread and you let one of the moderators know that you have posted a newer version and that the title needs to be changed and we will be happy to do it.
Here are a few tips when searching:
Try different spellings. (Maybe the original poster spelled it wrong)
If your search comes back with nothing, try a different word in the program name and search for that. (Maybe the original poster left a word out)
Enable the option to search the topic titles rather than the topics contents (This will reduce your results and will make it easier to see if something has already been posted)
Your search MUST be at least 3 characters. That is just the way the engine works.
Take part of the word you are searching for and search for it instead. (Example: Slysoft. Search for "Sly" instead)
These are just some helpful tips to use when searching. It is very important to search before posting.
