after installing PCI USB 2.0? I have purchased a slim portable 80GB Seagate hard disc a few weeks back. my computer is 7 years old, i have connected PCI USB 2.0 port in my mother board and disabled and enabled mother board USB support. but still not detecting Krypton MB, 1GB AMD Atholon OS windows 2000. the same hard disc is detecting in other PC. but new stuff.Requetsed ur advice in this regard. THEN ONE OF THE ANSWER IS......THKS A LOT FOR PROMPT REPLY....."hmm check in - my comp, right click, properties, Device manager, USB tree. see if theres any indication there.Format ur newly bought hard disk thru windows using dicsk manager " THIS I HAVE DONE EARLIER...BUT STILL HAVE SAME PROBLEM.
