dual channel is just when you have a pair of ram say two 1gb sticks and then place each stick in a different channel.
normally the sockets are colour coded so say on left side you have two slots one yellow and one black same for the right side so then you place a 1gb stick in left side black and another 1gb stick in black on right side. |
