One thing ive noticed is people keep posting on year old inactive posts (such as some one asks what GPU they should get then someone posts "get the 4870 or GT280" a year later, well I don't think the original poster is still searching for a card, hince the reply would be slightly useless.) However I don't think people are doing this on purpose. I noticed that the topic is dated, however its in very small print in the top left corner which isn't very noticeable.

So my suggestion (and I don't exactly know how you would do this) is to make the font larger, and maybe center it. Or create a script that gives you a pop up asking if you would really like to post and saying the topic date, for posts older than X months.
