Click on any button on the Installation Screen to install that item.
You may return to the main screen after installing any given item. You
may install as many items as desired. When finished, press the Exit
button. If you do not wish to install an item at this time, you may
install it at a later date.
INSTALL CHIEF ARCHITECT
Click on this button to install Chief Architect X1, including
Program Files, Sample Plan Sets, Help Files, and related material.
The installation menu will close when this option is selected.
Install PDF995 PRINT DRIVER
Click on this button if you wish to install PDF995. PDF995 is a freely
distributable PDF print driver that allows you to print and save your
files as PDFs. Using this driver, you can save your chief Architect
files as PDF files that can then be shared and printed on any printer,
including large-scale plotters found in many custom print service shops.
INSTALL ADDITIONAL TOOLS
Click on this button to visit the Additional Tools page on the Chief
Architect web site. From this web page, you can install other useful
software tools.
INSTALL ADOBE ACROBAT READER
Click on this button if you do not have Acrobat Reader (version 7.0.8
or greater) already installed. Acrobat Reader allows you to view PDF
files. There are several PDF files that ship with this Chief Architect
product, such as the electronic version of the Chief Architect 11 Full
reference guide. The installation menu will close when this option is
selected.
