Spotmau PowerSuite™ 2008 is a suite of computer utilities for configuring, optimizing and repairing computer systems.

Spotmau PowerSuite™ 2008 includes TWO parts: WinCare™ and BootCare™ .

(1) WinCare™
WinCare™ can run while you are in Windows. Just put the Spotmau PowerSuite™ CD into your CD drive and wait for it to run automatically or directly double click the autorun.exe.

(2) BootCare™
BootCare™ can run only after your computer boots from the Spotmau PowerSuite™ CD. Just put this CD into your CD drive and restart your computer. If your computer does not boot from this CD, please read “How To Boot From This CD” in this User Manual or visit our website.

WinCare Features:

1. Windows Doctor
IE Manager - enables you to restore the default settings of your Internet Explorer, remove IE content password, sweep extended options in the right-click context menu of your IE, stop some specified programs, etc.
System Context Menu - enables you to customize your system context menu.
Desktop and Icon - enables you to choose icons you want for your folders.
2. Windows Backup
Windows Backup has much more comprehensive and newer functions, including partition table backup and partition backup. The software also provides the function of Automatic Backup. What you need to do is just to set up the Automatic Backup option.

3. Security & Privacy
Folder Hiding - enables you to hide your personal folders so that your privacy could be protected. .

4. Data Recovery
The Data Recovery category includes a collection of recovery tools with the target of file data recovery. The Data Recovery tools can recover files from corrupted FAT and NTFS partitions. You can recover the data to other partitions on local disks or external devices (e.g. USB flash disks, removable disks etc).

5. Password & Key Finder
Now, with Password & Key Finder, you can instantly recover passwords of OUTLOOK 2007, ACCESS, GOOGLE TALK, YAHOO MESSENGER, WINDOWS AUTOLOGON, and DIALUP.

In addition, Password & Key Finder of this version supports product key recovery for Windows Vista and MS Office 2007.

6. Clone Genius
Clone Genius supports copy from small partitions to large partitions on NTFS partitions, and can take complete use of new partitions.
Newly designed interfaces are more user-friendly.

BootCare Features:

1. Windows Recovery
Windows Recovery can recover Windows Vista which fails to boot because of BOOTMGR, HAL, or ntoskrnl file loss. It can restore your partition with partition backup which has been made by Windows Backup or Clone Genius.

2. Password Recovery
Admin/User Password Recovery - With this utility, you can remove or change the Admin/User password of Windows Vista (32bit) now. It could list all the User names in your Windows system.

3. Clone Genius

4. Data Genius

5. Partition Genius
Partition Genius has the following new features:
New functions have been added, such as to convert partitions, split partitions, move/resize partitions, merge partitions, set labels, hide partitions, resize clusters of partitions, etc. All of them can be performed without damaging the data on the partitions.
Creating and deleting file systems of FAT12, ext2, ext3, swap are supported. Users of both Windows and Linux can use this software conveniently.
SATA disks, USB disks, SCSI disks are supported.
The interfaces are more user-friendly and have more convenient operations.
