...trying to hack my computer? I have a home network with a wireless router and I was trying to install a new device the other day. It wasn’t working so I was checking my system logs for the router to see if the router was blocking it. That’s when I noticed this:Sat Jul 14 19:00:00 2007 1 Blocked by DoS protection 73.79.250.1Sat Jul 14 19:00:04 2007 1 Blocked by DoS protection 73.79.250.1Sat Jul 14 19:00:08 2007 1 Blocked by DoS protection 73.79.250.1Sat Jul 14 19:00:16 2007 1 Blocked by DoS protection 73.79.250.1Sat Jul 14 19:00:32 2007 1 Blocked by DoS protection 73.79.250.1Sat Jul 14 19:00:35 2007 1 Blocked by DoS protection 73.79.250.1I am getting over 2000 of these from the same IP every day! I wish I could tell you what port these are intended for but I’m not sure how to find out. What’s going on and how do I get it to stop? I talked with Comcast (my ISP) and they said they couldn’t help because it wasn’t one of their IP’s. Any ideas?
