Synopsis

The first Naruto movie follows Team 7’s mission to escort a popular but unpleasant actress to the Snow Country. Once there she’s supposed to film the last movie in blockbuster hit series. For some reason she doesn’t want to go but is eventually persuaded and is met in the Snow Country with an icy reception. Like pretty much every Scooby Doo episode ever, “spirits” show up and begin scaring off people working on the movie. This of course makes Team 7 investigate exactly what’s going on and why.

Synopsis

Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura, and Lee are sent to protect a prince during his trip around the world and see that he returns safely to his home in the Moon Country. The Moon Country happens to be really rich and as such the Prince tends to buy anything his heart desires. During his travels the Prince comes across a circus group that features a rare Sabre-toothed tiger that he just has to have, so he purchases the entire group. Suddenly a mission to protect the prince that hardly listens to anything said, turns in to a mission to look after animals and a prince that doesn’t listen to what they say, and in the end somehow get them all back safely to their home country. All the while there are three mysterious Ninja wielding some frightening jutsu waiting for them. Why are they attacking them? What do they want with Team Kakashi!?!

If the movie were to take place during the Anime timeline, it would be placed during the filler arcs between Part 1 and Part 2, after the Sasuke Retrieval Arc and sometime before the end of Part 1 of the Anime/Manga.

Plot

A demon, known as Mouryou that once almost destroyed the world have been revived by someone. To prevent the world from being destroyed, Naruto is to guard the High Priestess Shion, but she predicts Naruto’s death. The only way to escape it is to get away from Shion, which would leave her unguarded, in which case the demons would kill her.

Naruto the Movie 4 is the fourth film in the animation installment which is based on the Naruto manga and anime series created by Masashi Kishimoto. News of the upcoming movie was announced on November 22, 2006, in that week’s issue of Shonen Jump.

The movie takes place at an undetermined point during the Naruto: Shippūden time frame, and stars Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Neji Hyuga and Rock Lee as primary Konoha ninja.

The opening scene of the movie, also released as a teaser trailer, shows Naruto fighting a monster, only to be slain. Thenceforth several of his friends and colleagues are shown visiting his funeral, and his gravestone is viewed immediately before the movie itself starts.
