Thanks for your work Gunslinger.

I am unable to get Game Jackal to register. I'm installing Game Jackal Pro (first option) and it always comes up saying it's TRIAL. WinVista x64, UAC disabled.

Also, sometimes the launcher fails to launch the installer properly. For instance, choosing CloneCD then selecting the first option and clicking ok will hide the app, but the installer won't launch. After end-tasking and trying a few times it will eventually work.

It seems that maybe changing the option in the list of programs a few times before hitting ok helps. I may be imagining that....

ok, it looks like i have some issues with this build.

I have no idea why GJ has started playing up like this... the cracked files used came directly from the cracker, not from an install that was patched by this patcher, i'll have to look at that, it has been tested using a different method too, by installing the pro over an enterprise install should use a key to register it and you should get the latest version as Enterprise Client, but that went wrong too.... i cant install GJ (or dont want to) because every time i do it seriously screww kaspersky and then every thing i open, even notepad fires a warning in kaspersky... basically i hate the dam program.

CloneCD i just tested and the micro encryptor crashed... AGAIN, this too is starting to piss me off, the micro encryptor is what controls the decrypting and re-encrypting of some of my custom tools on the fly, but it seems lately it has been screwing up more than it is worth....

i think we can write this version off as a FAIL in teerms of an AIO.


I do have some changes i need to make, but no time to do them, and now it seems i have even more chages i need to make

Lets see if that fixes the issues your having... it is still under testing, so only posted here and at one other baord where problems were reported... please let me know if it works for you

Uninstalled Game Jackal and then reinstalled using the new AIO you provided. Still no go, shows up UNREGISTERED and in Trial Mode.

Uninstalled CloneCD and reinstalled, tested ok.

However, still having an issue with the AIO app launching the installer (for both CloneCD and Game Jakckal). I've narrowed it down a bit more.

The first time I run the installer, select CloneCD, pick an option and hit ok. AIO interface minimizes, and nothing happens. The "resetting zreglib file data" window does not show up. AIO installer icon is still in the tray.

If I end-task the AIO installer (end process tree, icon disappears from tray) and try again, the same thing happens.

However, if after the first try I just leave the AIO app running and launch another instance of the AIO installer (two AIO icons in the tray), the AIO will launch the installers fine.

Basically, I need two hat icons in my tray for it to work properly.

OK THE ADVERTS HERE ARE NOW GETTING RIDICULOUSLY INTRUSIVE

if this continues i will not be back, i've got full screen popovers that stop me using the site completely and ones that kaspersky is firing trojan warnings on



right ... if your not seeing the zReglib killer window, then something on your pc is blocking it being run, this is causing the AIO to hang because it waits for that to finish before continuing.... why does it work the second time if you already have one hung instance of the AIO... i am not 100% sure, what i can tell you is that the AIO will unpack to your temp file to a folder with a number on the end, by default it is called ir_ext_temp_0, should it already find that folder exists it will change the number on the end till it finds one that does not exist...... have a look in your temp folder and see how many of those you have, try cleaning them out (you wont be able to do this with the AIO running) ... basically it seems to be blocking on one file path but not another

The bottom line is something on your pc is being overly protective, it is either killing the micor encryptor or the zReglib killer, there is no real way for me to tell which, why it doesnt stop a second instance is beyond me, and makes me think the app that is interfering is not exactly reliable.


Gamejackal was tested and working, and again, to get the results you have ..... outside interference is the only answer really, unless the AIO is failing to stop GJ prior to transfering the cracked exe....

The more i think about this, the more i am leaning towards OS interference, you may have turned off UAC (i assume Tweak UAC tool confirms this) but that does not mean that Vista isnt meddling in some other way

EDIT:
i'd be tempted to go offline and one by one turn off your protection tools, till you find the one that is interfering, then check it does not have a "silent block" feature ... if that fails, tuern back on UAC so you are seeing the warning etc, that can sometimes be useful to see what is triggering it and what isnt

thats interesting, and leans me towards restricted permissions on the first instance, although why i have absolutely no idea.

Try looking in the right click permissions stuff and seeing if there is any option in vista to run with elevated permistions or as administrator ... the AIO should be set like this automatically i think, there is some settnig in the AMS project build stage that i always set to require admin rights because of the registry access required

Well, closing everything I could and disabling NOD32 AV seems to fixed the problem with the launcher not opening the installers the first try.

I tried poking around in my temp file while it was running, but I'm guessing your app has something against me opening my temp folder, or a command prompt

Still no go on the Game Jackal registration though. Still in trial mode (that trial/buy popup keeps kicking me out of game). I'm going to give the installer another go on a different PC later today and see what that does.

hahaha, yup the AIO protects itself !

ok... so we know that something external is interferrnig with it... if you can narrow it down a bit more, like to which app it is, maybe i can script it to warn of this issue....
