Hi,

I am not really shure, what you mean - so lets try:

What size has your monitor - if it is a lcd is it connected by Digital cable or analog vga?

what graphic card did you use?

I think you use an LCD-Monitor with analog cable. And in the setings the refreshrate is too high. LCD-Monitors are only supporting one resolution - the exact one whre every pixel controls on transistor on the screen.

Some of the LCDs have enough intelligence to recalculate other resolutions - but this results mostly in a really bad display. Also most LCDs are supporting only 50-60Hz Refreshrate - so pls. check what you are using...
