Hi,
My problem is that I started dual booting XP with my Vista pre installed hp 6701 au note book, but I got stuck after installation of XP...By running VistaBootPRO I couldn't get the dual boot option......I can only boot into XP..OK,by VBP-"System Bootloader",by selecting the Vista boot loader I can only get into Vista after rebooting..Reverse is also true ,like I can get into XP again after rebooting ,only if I had chosen "install legacy boot loader" in VBP..but the dual boot features is not coming anyway!!

I kept the 3 files for XP(ntldr, NTDETECT, and boot.ini ) in both the drives for Vista and XP.
-then followed the VistaBootPRO v.3.3 Method(though I have VBP 3.2)

. Open VistaBootPRO and go to the "System Bootloader" screen
. Select "Windows Vista Bootloader"
. Select "All Drives"
. Select Force Install and then click on "Install Bootloader"

-I ran "Run Diagnostics",rebooted the system several times but the entry "earlier version of Windows" never shows up.
While booting I can still have only 2 entries-- "Vista","HP recovery manager".

I checked my boot.ini from VBP->Legacy Editor which I'm pasting below.

Vista is not giving access to it either.

Plz let me know if there is any way out to get ddual booting.
Plz note I DON'T HAVE Vista Installation DVD, I only have a set of Vista recovery dvd.
