3d cooking pan studio tutorial in 3ds max - 06-12-2008, 02:46 PM

Here, I will show you, how to make 3d cooking pan studio tutorial in 3ds max.
I have used polygon selection techniques in making of this tutorial.
[1]First, take a box of this size.


[2]Convert it into Editable poly.

[3]Switch to the polygon mode.

[5]Select the top polygon and delete them.

[6]Go to the modifier panel and select shell modifier.

[7]Your image will look like this.

[8]Switch to edges mode and select the edges like this.


[9]Then hit chamfer edges by amount 1.

[10]Switch to the edges mode and select the top edges and transform it like this.



[11]Drag the selected edges downwards.

[12]Your image will look like this.

[13]Then add mesh smooth modifier by iterations 4.


[14]Your image look like this.

[15]Take a box of this size.


[16]Then convert it into Editable poly.

[17]Switch to the edges mode and select the edges like this.

[18]Then hit connect by this values.

[19]Switch to the polygon mode and inset polygons by this value.


[20]Then extrude by -6.6.

[21]Your image will look like this.

[22]Press M and select the steel, take diffuse color as grey.


[23]Select the handle and take diffuse as black.


[24]This is the final image.
